This is an arduino tilt sensor. It is used to detect orientation. Inside the sensor, there is a ball that make contact with the pins when the case is upright. Tilt the sensor over and the balls don’t touch, thus not making a connection.
As this sensor is now woking under 3.3V, it is now able to be compatible with Raspberry Pi. An Arduino Shield for Raspberry Pi B+/2B/3B will make it easy to use.
This 2x20 flat ribbon-cable fits the GPIO headers on the Raspberry Pi 3, 2, and B+ so you can easily connect to the low-level peripherals and get hacking!
This cable will supply power to anything that has a MicroUSB port. The cable does not transfer data, but it's good for powering and charging devices with a convenient on/off switch (with a satisfying click) so you dont have to unplug the cable every time you want to turn your device off.
